Geotagged Mexico Trip Photos

I discovered an awesome piece of open source software called Geotag that automatically geotags your photos using a GPX file (a GPS log). So I was able to take the photos from my trip and map them here. It is easier to take a look at them in full screen. You can view them in two ways:

I have some old data from previous trips that I may be able to use to do some more mapping. My motto: Log first and ask questions later. If you want to do this yourself, all you need is a GPS device that is able to log your coordinates as your are taking your photos. Then set your camera’s date and time accurately so you can sync it up with the GPS logs via the Geotag program. For more details check out GeoTag here:

Another great way to document a trip, and best of all it only took me 15 minutes!
